Over the last 2 days I had the privilege to attend the Mental Health First Aid course from MHFA England® and I'm now a Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®). This course teaches knowledge and skills for providing first aid to support people who may be experiencing poor mental health.
My Instructor (Ian Phillips MSc) was great and I had the opportunity to share the experience with a really varied group from different industries.
Together, we believe in zero stigma around mental health. We want mental health to be openly discussed and supported. Together, let’s create a society where everyone can thrive.
Now I've completed the MHFA course, I can take the eAssessment for RSPH Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid and gain the MHFAider® qualification.
