Gary Holmes
I am Gary, Coach and Consultant at Rise. I have worked in consulting roles that have given me a wealth of experience and taken me to many exciting locations around the world, but I am most comfortable coaching. I enjoy helping people to develop and fulfil their potential.
My background
I support successful professionals around the world, at all stages in their careers. Prior to launching my coaching practice I worked as Senior Manager in at TechCo. I have held roles in IT Consulting, Solution and Service Architecture, in pre- and post-sales environments. I have a recognised coaching qualification and I am accredited but the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) as a senior practitioner. I am a Mental Health First Aider.
My coaching
I have been in leadership roles for 20+ years. I have helped my clients achieve their personal and professional goals. My specialism is in facilitating career decision and self-growth by helping you identify the direction you wish to take in your career, and the core challenges that you are facing, so that you can overcome them with confidence. I specialise in creating personalised plans and providing tools to guide you forward and achieve your goals.

I am a qualified mental health first aider and this helps me to identify where my coachees may need specialist support so I can refer them to appropriate resources for that support and counselling should this be necessary.
I receive regular Coaching Supervision, which focuses on the development of the my own coaching practices through a supervisory network providing me support and development.
